I was deeply impressed the other day when two 4th Graders volunteered to do extra sweeping after lunch. There is a weekly rotation for students from each grade to take turns washing down the lunch room tables and sweeping the floors. Ashley and Hope decided that they would do a large scale sweeping to hit all the places that were overlooked by the "on-duty" kids. Such thoughtfulness! That is one of the trademarks of Good Shepherd Catholic School. Not only are the students educated in the academic basics, but they also learn virtuous behavior. I am so proud of these students and of the Catholic culture kids receive and exemplify every day at our school. It is a well-rounded education.
