I love this photo because in one click it summarizes the essence of Good Shepherd Catholic School: Catholic Faith, patriotism, parental involvement, volunteerism, hard work, learning and enduring friendships.  Every year basketball is a favorite activity for the students whether it is as a team sport competing with other schools or simply as a gym class activity. Parents and coaches like Darren Pierce for the older boys' team (and Dan Hughes not pictured) help create that family atmosphere for which Good Shepherd is renowned.

     When you visit our school for a tour to enroll your child as a student here, or to enjoy a basketball game, shop at our Christmas bazaar or indulge in our spaghetti dinner, you will notice the family-like atmosphere which is the fruit of our Catholic faith in action. Since 1998, that has been our mission and thank God it continues to bear good fruit. I hope that in the years to come, one of the boys in this photo will return to Good Shepherd as one of our basketball coaches!
