Six of my 5th and 6th grade students' names were randomly drawn to go to the Canterbury Inn to decorate Christmas cookies with the residents. We were invited by the Activities Director.  We ended up having four girls and two boys. I thought the boys might be bored with it, but was I wrong!  They were amazing.  Future pastry chefs of America!  I sat with them at one point for some male solidarity and one of the residents asked if i would like to have our picture taken. As you can see, they are not shy when it comes to cameras.  They also did some of the best cookie decorating with frosting and sprinkles.  All of us boys had a great day at Canterbury Inn.  And the girls did, too.
