This quotation from the prophet Isaiah 43:1, "I have called you by name, you are mine,"  is the perfect antidote for those children struggling with their identity, low self-esteem or feeling unloved. It is the truth of God's revelation to the human race. Each and every single one of us has been created out of His divine love and each person is distinct and capable of divine union with Him. It is a Scripture passage we all need to remember especially on those days when we've been bullied, abandoned by loved ones, ignored by friends, or just feeling sorry for ourselves for various reasons.

     To know that each of us is personally known and loved by God provides us strength on those dark and lonely days.That lesson is important for our students at GSCS as life becomes more and more complicated for them with the passage of time. When human love is lacking, His love never fails.
