I was so deeply touched by two of the boys at school who went away to a warm, tropical place during their last vacation.  I jokingly said to them, "Bring me back a souvenir.  Just a rock or something."  I didn't think that kids that age would even remember that light hearted request with all the excitement of their vacation, family and friends. But they did. They gave me some rock, a corral and shells. I was so deeply moved by their thoughtfulness.

     At Good Shepherd Catholic School we build lasting relationships that I pray will endure for years.  I have the souvenirs on my desk at school--where I dream about a warm, tropical vacation.
