Although the students are gone for the summer, there is still a lot of activity taking place at Good Shepherd during the summer months. My new roommate is moving in, or, maybe I should say my new “classroom-mate.” Lori Lombardi is moving from the Early Childhood division of GSCS to the Maple Street building where she will be teaching 5/6 Grade Math. She has begun relocating supplies to our room on the second floor. She is a very messy roommate!

     I am so excited to share classroom space; although we won’t be teaching at the same time. Lori has a lot of energy, a deep faith, a radiant smile and a wonderful sense of humor. I got to know Lori the most at the soccer games and basketball games over the years--as well as seeing her with the babies at the Father Lively Center or strolling with them though my parking lot.
