Holy Week and Easter are the liturgical highlight of the Church calendar. It is a very busy week and there are some very moving Masses and ceremonies. I usually receive some very beautiful Easter cards for which I am very grateful. This year I received something special. Two girls at Good Shepherd hand-painted these Easter eggs for me which they delivered with big smiles. As you can see, the detail is very impressive. They must have spent a lot of time tracing and then painstakingly painting the eggs. I definitely do not have the patience or skill to do that! Their thoughtfulness touched me very deeply.

     Graces abound every year during Holy Week and Easter, but this is an Easter I will always remember. Resurrexit sicut dixit.
