The French Club had a tasty class this week. I decided to make crêpes for the students. It’s amazing how many more students want to join the French Club once they find out there is food! We made the crêpes in the school kitchen. We only had thirty minutes so I cooked, they filled. They loved the strawberries, bananas, Nutella, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I was so impressed by how enthusiastic they were, but also how helpful they were in the kitchen--prepping food and cleaning up. They wanted to stay there longer and not even go out for recess!
The crêpes were a huge success. In the words of the famous American chef, Julia Childs--Bon appétit!
