Melissa is excited to be teaching 2nd grade again at Good Shepherd this year. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Delaware and has been teaching for over 22 years. Most of her experience has been in Catholic schools, and she finds this environment to be where she thrives.

She moved to St. Johnsbury in 2021 at which time her daughter, Annabeth, joined GSCS for 8th grade. She lives with her husband Matt and her son Wyatt. Melissa enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, visiting art museums, and spending time with her dogs, Gunner and Billy. She recently took up snowboarding and paddleboarding and is enjoying all the outdoor activities Vermont has to offer.
