I love this photo of Hadley cleaning snow off a teacher’s car at the Early Ed Center at Good Shepherd Catholic School, while mom monitors her progress like any good supervisor! Kids love being helpful. It builds their self-esteem. We adults have to be careful about excluding them from helping us because it takes longer or is less efficient. Our patience builds their confidence and that trait is at the heart of teaching. At Good Shepherd Catholic School we want our students to become confident young men and women.
See how much Hadley is smiling in this photo as the snow comes drifting down. She had her work cut out for her that day, but with that determined look, victory is guaranteed.
