Touching History

I love this photo of Landon wearing an 18th Century outfit. While the redcoat military uniform is too big for him, he would have made a very jolly soldier.  This photo is from the 3rd/4th Grade fieldtrip to Fort Ticonderoga this past spring.  There is something to be said about "hands-on" history.  Reading textbooks and viewing movies is one thing; but, to be able to feel and touch history adds a whole other dimension to learning.

The study of history is so important for us, especially in this technological age, where we "read" books with our audible downloads, write "letters" by email, and "display" photos on our phones. Your charitable donations to Good Shepherd Catholic School allow our students to experience history first-hand and "feel" the joy of learning.  Just like Landon!  Please consider going to the Donation tab and making a donation today for our students.
