I love this group photo of the 8th Graders preparing for the Shakespeare Festival at Good Shepherd. Their English teacher, Deacon Lovett, had them do a lot of research into the Elizabethan era. One can see the excitement and nervousness in their faces as they are about to perform selected lines and skits from Shakespeare's plays as well as explain various displays they created which were exhibited throughout the gym. Our Good Shepherd teachers are dedicated to their respective areas of expertise and share years of knowledge, research and activities to bring out the best from our students and engender in them a love for learning.
Shakespeare has been considered one of the greatest writers in the English language and he didn't even have spellcheck on his iPhone.
Your donations to Good Shepherd Catholic School have brought Shakespeare into their lives. Thank you for your continued support!
