I love this photo of Peyton, Charlee, Lennox, Olivia, and Ellie.
Although these girls are not blood sisters, they have formed a "sisterhood" on a slide at the playground. Their smiles are infectious!  And I know from seeing them at school that they are all full of energy.  That slide represents for them adventure, daring, joy and camaraderie. And that's what young friendships should be all about on a spring day at recess. Life becomes more serious later on.  Of these five girls, I am wondering who will be the first to go down that slide?  Who will be the first to push a hesitant sister down the slide?  Who will be the first to skin her knee?  Who will be the first to tend to the injured? Who will be the first to rally them to go back up and do it all over again?  Sisters.
