National Catholic Schools Week begins on January 25, 2026 and runs throughout the week. At Good Shepherd Catholic School, we start our celebration with Mass with His Excellency, Bishop John J. McDermott on Friday January 23, 2026 at 8:30 AM at St. John's Church in St. Johnsbury. Everyone is welcome to attend that Mass. A variety of activities will take place throughout the week, notably our January Thaw Basketball Tournament which also begins on Friday January 23 at 4:00 PM.

There are approximately 5,325 Catholic elementary schools in the United States and we, at Good Shepherd, are a proud member of that large and diverse family which stretches out from sea to shining sea.
