I have to say I am a proud Father. These are four of my students in 5/6 Religion class. They have achieved honors and high honors for the 2nd Trimester. I am very proud of them. They have worked consistently hard in all of their subjects--as did those in the other grades as well. Despite this fleeting photo-op fame, they are learning at Good Shepherd lasting values of good study skills, hard work, timeliness and perseverance. These are all virtues that will enable them to be successful as their academic careers progress and as they mature into adults.
I don't remember if we ever had honor roll when I was in 5th grade at State Street School in Windsor, VT, but I do know we did when I was in high school. It was a coveted goal that I occasionally reached. Except for that year of physics :(
Thank you for sharing in our pride for these students who have excelled in so many areas of life at GSCS. And thank you for your donations which enable us to let them shine.
