On Veterans Day this year, the kids stopped by for hot chocolate and snacks before riding the Good Shepherd Catholic School float in the Veterans Day parade through St. Johnsbury.  The students love coming to the Rectory.  I think it's because it's a big old house and we always do something fun there. I've had various groups there over the years from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.  And they really make themselves at home!  I love this picture of the choir sitting on the steps drinking hot chocolate minutes before going back outside. (See our Facebook posts for more pictures).  Invitations to the Rectory build the family-type bond that we enjoy at Good Shepherd.  We are not just an institution, but we open our homes from time to time to demonstrate Christian hospitality.  Your donations to Good Shepherd Catholic School allow these boys and girls to spend their formative years in a school where charity, respect and good manners are highly valued.
