Today is Christmas Day, 2025.  The Christmas tree in this photo is at St. John the Evangelist Rectory, still in the early stages of decorating.  I got if from one of our Good Shepherd Catholic School alumni, Anders Hahr, who hiked up onto his family's woodland property and cut it down for me and helped me put it in the tree stand.

Our GSCS alumni are everywhere and have taken their Catholic Faith all over the country, if not indeed, the world. The school just celebrated its 27th year of operation. These alumni join the venerable graduates of the former Catholic Central School, Mt. St. Joseph Academy and  St. Gabriel's School.  I am always grateful for these "older" alumni who were such strong supporters of re-opening a Catholic school in St. Johnsbury.  I will remember all of our alumni and their contributions to society at my Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Merry Christmas to all and thank you for your financial contributions that keep our school thriving.
